Limbrick Wood Baptist Church is a growing family church located on the corner of Jardine Crescent and Faseman Avenue, Tile Hill, Coventry. CV4 9QS. Join our all-age worship services at 10:45am every Sunday, and our Thrive! Praise Evening at 6:30pm on the first Sunday evening of the month. We have a growing young people’s ministry and numerous community activities, with prayer at the heart of all we do. You will also get a great cuppa with biscuits and chat!
Over the last few months we moved forwards into the new testament – this series was called REPURPOSE – the idea came from a word taken from our previous #GO! series (listen here) and that week was also entitled #GO!: REPURPOSE
The message had such a powerful impact that it really demanded more than one week – so over 9 weeks we explored how we can be robbed of purpose (by both good and bad things) and how we can seek God out and repurpose our lives. The bible tells us we have a cunning enemy that seeks to destroy God’s people and not only does he want to stop us from finding our purpose but to try and stop us from fulfilling our purpose when we find it.
This fits in really well with our Motto Verse for 2019 and should increase our motivation for justice and righteousness (listen to our Motto Verse message here)

As a brief summary so you know what is on, we have…
We take prayer very seriously and it forms one of the foundations of Limbrick Wood Baptist Church. We gather for prayer for around 30 minutes before the Sunday Morning gathering, and there is also a focused group that prays in the midnight hour once a fortnight.
Over recent months we have partnered with organisations like ‘The Well’ in Leamington Spa, and also the national ‘Christian Prayer Ministries’ organisation and have offered specific, focused times of prayer.
Their teaching, prayer and ministry has been of immense benefit to all that have attended, and off the back of these blessings, we continue to pray that we would see souls released from the burdens of life that they were never meant to carry.
If you would like prayer, we always offer a time of prayer ministry at the end of each service, but for specific support please contact us and arrange a time to meet with our pastor and prayer ministry team.
We are blessed to have so many amazing Christian singers and song writers, both here in the UK and also overseas, and it seems that new material or revised hymns are released on a daily basis.
So finding songs that make for congregational worship, and reflect the Father’s heart for a praise and worship service is something Worship Leaders and Pastors / Ministers, wrestle with.
At Limbrick Wood, we have been blessed over the last few years to have young people and other gifted musicians step up to share their gifts in leading us.
Why do we sing? Colossians 3:16 says “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly…singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs…” when we are so full of praise and adoration to our wonderful Saviour… just try and stop us singing!
