This Sunday we celebrate the baptism service of Ali who recently joined LWBC. He will be sharing some of his incredible story to faith and how this forced him to flee his home and everything he knows in order to follow Christ. We also Continue into Chapter 9 of Nehemiah.
The strapline Responsibility, Restoration, Vision and Value are four lenses to help us focus on what God wants to say to us as a church and also as individuals. Over the summer Darren has encouraged us to have a read through this inspiring book a few times – it takes about an hour to read with an average reading speed… or grab an online version and have a listen (even in double speed for a 30 minutes whizz through!) – http://lwbc.org.uk/ReadNehemiah
This Sunday we continue in Chapter 8 of Nehemiah. Our pastor Darren will be taking us through the 13 weeks and 13 chapters as we consider what God is saying to us as we enter into a new season.

This Sunday we continue the new series that will take us up to Christmas, we are in Chapter 6 of Nehemiah, and although we are only halfway through this book, there is a culmination of building works and attacks.

This Sunday will be the start of 5x One-Off Summer Services: This week is entitled “Season of Singing”, this phrase from Song of Solomon came to Darren as he was praying in Church recently.
Stuart Townend penned these words in the chorus to his song From the sleep of ages – “The winter is past and the rains are gone. Flowers appear all over the earth, these are the promised days, this is the season of singing.”
As we emerge from this pandemic, and it starts to feel like the winter has gone, summer is here, it is time for the church to awaken once more and enter into a Season of Singing!
