Free school meals make a huge difference to 1.2 million children in the UK but when schools are closed so are the kitchens.
MakeLunch was a network of churches working to fill the holiday hunger gap. Across the UK LunchMakers are making tasty, fresh food, free of charge available to children in low income families.
At our local Lunch Kitchen you’ll meet a great team of volunteers who are food safety qualified and DBS checked who’ll ensure there’s a host of fun and friendship on the menu.
All children will need to register so we can cater for allergies and health conditions. Click here to register online or complete paper copies on the day (if you have registered before please come along and discuss options – we will try and save any extra form filling with regards to GDPR compliance)
If you like to join us please come along, other family members are welcome – places are limited so booking in advance is advised, this can be done by visiting Limbrick Wood Baptist Church or replying to this event, and we can send forms out.
NOTE: MakeLunch has now become and TLG MakeLunch and we are looking at new membership for 2019.
