This Sunday we continue our new series that will take us up to Christmas. Our pastor Darren will be taking us through the 13 weeks and 13 chapters as we consider what God is saying to us as we enter into a new season.
The strapline Responsibility, Restoration, Vision and Value are four lenses to help us focus in on what God wants to say to us as the church and also as individuals. Over the summer Darren has encouraged us to have a read through this inspiring book a few times – it takes about an hour to read with an average reading speed… or grab an online version and have a listen.

If you don’t know, we must legally have a ‘Risk Assessment (RA)’ in place that is sufficient for the risk of opening a church building (this was first completed on Wednesday 1st July 2020 with further reviews completed on the 17.07.20, 04.08.20, 21.08.20, 29.09.20, 16.10.20, 07.01.2021, 10.04.21, and now the 20th July 2021). We must follow the guidance we have proposed.

This week introduces our new 2021 Spring / Summer Series following on from Being Jesus. We will be considering WDJD: What Did Jesus Do! (a statement)… instead of the popular saying, WWJD: What Would Jesus Do? (a question).Each week we will consider a new saying or teaching based upon personal inspiration from the members of our congregation.
Our pastor Darren opens up this series with an introduction into “Doin’ the stuff” and a personal testimony around a bible passage that has always inspired him from Matthew 22.

This new series takes us up to Easter 2021
The title of this series is called: Being Jesus, and this is loosely based around the FRUIT of the Spirit, note fruit is a singular term.
This week we consider what the Fruit of the Spirit looks like compared to the Gifts of the Spirit, and how these are both rooted in love, and demonstrated to us by Jesus Himself.

At the tail end of 2020 a number of us felt a calling to pray and fast together as a whole church.
As we start a new series “Being Jesus” it felt like the timing was right for the whole church to be invited to fast and pray – there are many things that need soaking in prayer and Ade has offered to lead us through this week with daily prayer points and bible passages to read and pray through.
